From the GI Monitor Home, you can choose to log stool, stress or pain.
Log Stool
Log Stool allows you to easily track the consistency and blood level of each bowel movement.
Log pain Level
Log Pain Level allows you to easily note your overall pain level. This should be done daily to provide an accurate overall measure of pain. Its a good idea to log your overall pain level during your last bowel movement of the day. But don't worry, if you forget a day or two, GI Monitor will remind you.

Log Stress Level
Log Stress Level allows you to easily note your stress level whenever you'd like. You can also make a personal note about why you may have experienced high or low stress levels at a given time. It's important to note that stress levels ARE NOT calculated into your "Status" (1-10 scale of your overall feeling). Stress levels are just logged and noted for personal reference. You can always check daily logs to see when you were stressed and why.
Daily Logs
Daily logs allows you to easily scroll through daily detail for anything you have logged.
Medications
Medications allows you to easily track, add and edit your current medications and dosage. GI Monitor will also keep a history of of these medications to reference against your "Status".
My Status
My Status is the most important part of the GI Monitor. It grades your overall health on a simple scale of 1-10 (10 is best) for any given date range. So when you go to the doc, you can tell him/her how you're feeling on a scale of 1-10 since your last visit. You can even email your detailed report to yourself, you doctor or your very concerned mother.
Note: Its slightly more complicated behind the scenes, but you don't need to worry about that. You already have enough on your plate. In case you really want to know, "My Status" uses a weighted algorithm that considers frequency of bowel movements (as measured against what is normal for you), stool consistency, blood levels and pain to calculate an accurate score from 1-10.
Printing/Sending All Data
I really like this app, but how do get all the info. that I've logged instead of just the total numbers? Thank you.

The GI monitor is doing very well,i got it some days before and i found it very satisfactory. It grades overall health on a simple scale of 1-10 (10 is best) for any given date range. From the GI Monitor Home, you can choose to log stool, stress or pain. A very nice invention... Keep it up....
Suggestions and error report
Dear GI Monitor team,
I have just purchased the application and so far it is the only application that pretty much does what I would like it to do. I hope this will make it easier for me to track which days were good and which days were bad, especially since I always carry my iPhone with me.
I seem to have trouble editing the medication. The blue arrow doesn't seem to work. I have to delete the specific medication and enter it as a new medication with whatever changes I wanted to make.
I also would love to see bar charts or graphs added to this app. This way it would be easy to track the number of stools per day and maybe even use colour codes to indicate consistency and blood for each bar. Taking it even further, a bar chart showing over a period of time when on average during the day the stools occur (split the day up into 2, 4 or 6 hour blocks). Maybe a lot to ask for but it would help me plan my day if I would know generally when my 'quiet' time during the day is going to be.
Would it be possible to keep this email private and not post it?
Thank you.
Kindest regards,
Bart
